Introduction
This is the first redesign of this site since it launched in July 1997.
This site is primary used for testing and demonstrations; it serves no real purpose.
The purpose of this redesign is to:
- Update the look and feel, at least of this introductory page
- Code all new pages in HTML 4.01 (strict). A good exercise in what will be required before you know it
- Code all new pages so they will pass validation for XHTML, as well. Again, it's coming folks, let's get ready for it
- Retrofit old code to new GUI and to the more stringent coding goals I've set. Requires, in many cases, recode of the back end, as well as GUI work. Fine; let's do it.
I guess the important thing to remember is that what what was here before -- if for some indecipherable reason -- was here before, it's still here.
